Written, filmed and edited in a day, Lavage is the result of an uninhibited expression, without being manipulated by overthinking or overworking. It is the truest form of expression from initial idea to execution. A single thought put down on paper to exist as it is, and nothing more.

This video takes you inside the studio of Los Angeles based artist, Roné Prinz to give a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a hand-fabricated, mixed-media pendant. From preliminary sketches to selecting, sawing, and engraving materials, using metalsmithing techniques and a creative eye, Prinz shows us everything that goes into bringing her vision to life.
Direction, cinematography, and edited by Meara McDonald
Original music by Andrew Ampaya
