Me, Myself & Eye
Me, Myself & Eye explores the fluid boundary between perception and identity in an alternate reality. Using distortion, reflection, and surreal visual layering, the image confronts the viewer with fragmented versions of the self—what is seen, what is reflected, and what is imagined. The magnifying lens becomes a portal, warping the eye into an otherworldly gaze, suggesting that reality is not fixed, but constantly refracted through layers of consciousness. This piece invites contemplation of how we construct and reconstruct the self in a world where nothing is ever quite as it seems.
Me, Myself & Eye was published in Shots Magazine Winter No. 158: Open Theme, and received a Silver award in the reFocus 2024 Black & White Photo Contest, Conceptual category.
