Form and Forage is an ongoing series born from constraint and curiosity. In 2020, confined to home and working with only what was close at hand, I began creating still-life images using seasonal produce and found objects foraged from around my house. Inspired by the textures, colors, and natural beauty of homegrown fruits and vegetables—often sourced from farmer’s markets—I combined them with everyday items to build playful, unexpected compositions. Hand-painted backdrops and natural light lend a softness and painterly quality to each image, while the juxtapositions of natural and manmade elements invite quiet stories to emerge from the ordinary.
